With over fifteen years of experience teaching, preparing curriculum, tutoring, and editing, my three primary content areas are: process-oriented writing, critical thought/literary analysis, and creative writing. I hold a B.A. in English and an M.F.A in Creative Writing, and am currently earning a master’s in counseling.
Previous publishing credits include interviews, gallery reviews, newspaper articles, creative writing in print and online journals, and web copy for small companies. Past positions include full-time faculty at a governor’s school in Virginia teaching Language Arts and Creative Writing; adjunct instructor in the First-Year Writing Program at Montclair State University, and Associate Editor for a high-profile online journal of the arts. Currently I teach in the Program for Rhetoric and Composition at William Paterson University and at the Montclair Adult School.
